Frequently Asked Questions

How will my artwork be shipped?

Many of my works are in oil paint, which takes a substantial amount of time to dry. Your painting will ship once it has completely dried. I will be in contact with you regarding the drying and shipping timeline for the piece you purchase.

Once ready for shipping, the piece of art you purchase will be carefully wrapped, padded, and shipped in a cardboard box. Orders are generally shipped via USPS Priority Mail for domestic orders within the US, but other carriers may be used at times. Most orders will arrive within 2-4 business days and include tracking and insurance. Transit times are estimated by the carrier. Given the times, there may be shipping delays beyond my control.

If you live in Sublette County, you will have the option to select local pickup at checkout.

International Shipping

Purchases outside the US will generally ship via USPS Priority Mail International and take approximately 6-10 business days to arrive. Transit times are estimated by the carrier. Given the times, there may be shipping delays beyond my control.

The international flat rate is based on an average. If there are significant differences in shipping costs, I may contact you regarding the difference.

International orders may be subject to additional duties and fees that you will need to pay at the time you receive your shipment. I am not responsible for these fees nor can I offer an estimate.

Shipping cost includes shipping fees, packaging materials, time, and labor.

Colors

I do my best to capture and represent the colors of my artwork as accurately as possible, but there may be differences in how the colors appear on your screen vs how the painting appears in your space.

Returns

Because of the nature of artwork, all sales are final except in certain situations. Each piece is handled with care, and I do hope that you love and cherish your investment. If you have any concerns or are not thrilled with your purchase, please contact me at hello@brookegolden.com.

Rights

I retain all rights to the artwork I create. This means that I retain the right to make reproductions and prints of each piece of work. You, the buyer, may not reproduce in any way or resell the artwork without prior written permission from me. Please contact me if you wish to purchase rights to a piece of artwork or prevent me from creating reproductions of it for sale. If the artwork is captured in a photograph as part of a larger image for publications, magazines, or media, please make sure to credit my work. My artwork may never be used to market products or services without the purchase of an additional license. It also may never be claimed as your own.
